If a guy has Chlamydia and he gives a female head can the female catch chlamydia? i know a female can catch it by giving a guy oral sex but im not sure if it can happen the other way around. i was told a female cant catch it from a males salive but i need a definate answer. thankyou

So i used to talk to this guy.. he really liked me at first then i started liking him back. we talked for a couple of months then about 6 or 7 months ago we had sex and a week later he called me up and asked me if my EX (who cheated on me) had some sort of STD because he’d been experiencing the symptoms of chlamydia… And immediately i thought it was definitely from me… Then we kinda just drifted apart.. and Well a few months later i got tested for different types of std (herpes/ghon/chlam) and i got a negative.. then a few weeks ago i got tested again and got a negative… Well my question was would it be a bad idea if i aasked the guy i was talking to about it? and how should i begin talking aobut?? advice anyone?
thank you sooo much for all the answers! and yea i guess it’s just something i need to tell him bcoz i’ve had it in my chest for sooo long. and i really really liked him… and he did get tested, we went together actly.

we’ve been having sexually for about 6 months now, and just recently after having sex he had an outbreak (itching, bumps, cuts/blisters on his shaft, cold sore) that lead to us thinking he has herpes. i don’t have any of the symptoms, but i’m worried about where it came from and i’m worried that he might give it to me. he had an ex-girlfriend who had traces of chlamydia, he claimed to have a lot of sex with her and they were together for about two years. about a year after their breakup, he began getting sexually active with me, but he didn’t outbreak until 6 months later. i’ve never been sexually active with anyone before him, but i’m wondering where this outbreak came from?

Can anyone tell me what the differences between gonorrhea and chlamydia are? I know they are very similar but are there any subtle differences? I think I may have chlamydia and I’ve just been tested for it (should get results in a week or so) but if it comes back negative i’ll need to test for gonorrhea as well (they didn’t test me for both which i thought was odd..)
Anyway, any help would be appreciated
