Last month I went to the nurse for a pill checkup, and she strongly suggested I should get tested for chlamydia because I am sexually active. I said I would think about it. I have only ever slept with one person, my boyfriend, and he has only had one other partner except me and they were each other’s firsts. I also had a swab done about 6 months ago for an unusual discharge after taking antibiotics for a UTI. I was told I had no problems. Would this test have picked up on chlamydia if I had it? Should I or my boyfriend get tested just in case?

hi , i was just diagnosed with HPV. The problem is that the doctor also noticed swollen lymph nodes in my groin and neck. She said its possible that i also have chlamydia or mono, because the lymph nodes are swollen. I was just wondering , what else could it be? Im really scared i might also have genital herpes. I don’t have any symptoms but i know most people don’t have any. What are the chances the swollen lymph nodes are due to herpes?

Ijust started dating my boyfriend and I have only slept with him once. I was tested when I went into the dr. last week, and I found out that I have chlamydia. I was tested prior to my last partner which was over 2 months prior to me starting to date my current boyfriend. I know I need to tell him, but I don’t know how. I know honesty is the best policy but I just don’t know what to say to him.

My friend (who’s a guy) has pus coming from his penis and the tip (of the foreskin) is swollen. He is worried it is Chlamydia. He is going to get checked for EVERYTHING and is really worried about umbrella shaped Instruments they…..”use”. I thought this is a rumour and want to give him some support. Can anyone tell me what they actually use and what different tests check for, like, blood tests, and whatever others there are?? thank you!

Ok here’s my problem. Me and my gf has yet to have had sex. Yesterday i fingered my gf. I forgot to was my hand. About two hours after finishing, we decided to eat. We had barbecue chicken and my hands were used to eat it. Obviously the barbecue got on my fingers so i just licked it off, forgetting that my hands weren’t washed before our meal. Now to day my gf was diagnosed with chlamydia and she has received the medicine to be treated. Considering all facts givin, is it possible that i have received the disease? First off, I am NOT pregnant.

When sneezing while lying down, i experience a sudden, sharp pain on the right side of my body right about where my leg meets my body. This has been going on for a couple months. Went to the doctor and they suspected chlamydia, the results for any STD’s came back negative.
