I got TESTED for STDs today and was told that they viewed the samples underneath the microscope and that they found a large number of white blood cells in my vagina, signaling an infection. They have to send the sample to the lab to find out what it is (chlamydia, gonorrhea, ect). She gave me antibiotics already for the finding and i have to call in a week to find out specifics. Does this absolutely mean I have an STD and should I tell my partner to get tested NOW or do I need to wait the week until the results come back? How should I tell him?
