i went in for a normal visit and had to see the pa…she told me that i have to be careful because i can get infections (i have an IUD) . i told her i seem to always get normal infections which some women are prone to…she said not that kind of infection..shes talkin about chlamydia and gonnarhea…i’ve been coming to this doctors office for 4 yrs and i’ve been with my husband for 5 yrs…i got upset at the fact that she assumed i had multiple partners…would you have gotten upset??
i just wanted to add i didnt make a big deal out of it..i just make sure i see the doctor i forgot to add the part that put me off was when she told me to use a condom
i have had the iud for 3 yrs..and i didnt know people on here could be rude over a serious question …geez

So, basically; I have all the symptoms of a UTI, except fever, blood. I pee a lot recently (ALONG WITH PAIN AFTER ALL IS LEFT), and I drink lots and lots of water, eat TONS of salad (goes away for a little, but HITS ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AGAIN WIHT PAIN). I went to the emergency room, and they tested a dirty/clean sample, all they said was nothing is there and that they will wait 3 days to see if any cultures grown or something, but it’s way pass 3 days and nothing. So, I went to my regular doctor, somewhat more helpful because she said I may have a virus and gave me some phenazopyridine 100mg. I don’t have chlamydia or gonorrea, all tested negative.. what do i do?? how do i naturally cure this?

Well, my doctor wasn’t sure which one I actually had so he gave me treatment for both. A shot for one and 4 pills for the other. But I have trouble with taking pills…I mashed them up in my food, but I then kinda puked a little bit so I don’t think the pills will take full effect…and there’s a problem, this pain in my side is becoming unbearable…I can’t even sneeze without wanting to cry. My doctor said he was treating me for both because he was afraid if I went the weekend without treatment that it would be bad and since I didn’t take the pills right, should I go to check myself into the hospital to be safe?

My girlfriend was seeing this guy who she really liked and wanted to be his girlfriend but he did’t want anyone to know they were together! So they kept it a secret. He ended up getting Chlamydia and my girlfriend tested negative for it. A few months later she tested positive for pelvic inflammatory disease and Chlamydia. I was treated for Chlamydia before my test came back negative. My girlfriend is a story teller in a vampire role playing game for 13 years now and this guy is also a story teller in the same game for a year now. At times my girlfriend wants alone time with him to write new story lines at her place or his. They are also together at the collage were they play the game. She tells me she does not like him and I have nothing to worry about ! Am I to possessive not wanting them together? ( What would you do) ?

I went to see my doctor recently (2/8/2010) because I was experiencing unusual symptoms with my genitalia. I feared that I might have an STI. My doctor took a urine sample, urethral swab and blood samples. In the meantime he prescribed me ciprofloxacin (1 x 500 mg tablets twice daily) because there were puss cells in my urine sample and he thought it could be a UTI.
